The congregation begins at 10am sharp with Eid prayer, followed by the khutbah. Arrive by 9:30 to find a spot near the prayer area.
Bring a blanket, a flask and something to share. The hours after salah belong to quiet company: children on the grass, elders on chairs.
Face painting, a bouncy castle, henna, and the playground next door. The whole south lawn belongs to the children.
A small market of community stalls: sweets, dates, charity tables, clothing, books. Friendly, informal, run by local families.
